Student Housing
 
MCL is pleased to announce that we have partnered with California State University Monterey Bay (CSUMB) to assist our students who need  local housing. MCL students may acquire apartment housing on the CSUMB campus. The apartments are close to our new campus and easily accessible by car or bike.
 
Appreciating that a dormitory atmosphere is not appropriate for our law students, we have made arrangements for MCL students to live in CSUMB's East Campus Apartments. The apartments are located in the campus communities between Inter-Garrison Road and Imjin Road. Your neighbors are graduate CSUMB students and faculty with spouses or partners and possibly children.

The East Campus Apartments are approximately 1000 sq. feet of living space with 2 bedrooms, 1 full bath, kitchen with basic appliances, dining room, living room, plus a one-car garage.  Upstairs apartments are carpeted and have an enclosed walkout balcony. Downstairs apartments have tile flooring and a small fenced backyard. Units may be rented by one or two people. If there are two renters, both must sign a rental agreement with CSUMB and at least one must be an MCL student. Students who prefer to share an apartment with a roomate must make their own arrangements. MCL is not responsible for arranging roommates.

There is no lease required for MCL students because rental is on a month-to-month basis. The units are rented for $1175/month and includes high-speed internet access, and all utilities except telephone and PG&E. A refundable security deposit of $250.00 is required.
